We are Mariana and Marcelo, a couple of yoga teachers and digital nomads who aim to spread a holistic, sustainable, healthy and spiritual way of life through inspiring content, classes and workshops. 

Mariana Lourenço

Mariana Lourenco is a Certified Yoga Teacher with over 700hrs teacher training and workshops in several styles of yoga. She started practising Yoga in 2013, Mysore style with Mario Reinert, a prominent teacher and one of the first Brazilians authorized to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa. In 2017 she accomplished her first 200hrs Multi-style Training in Goa, India with renowned teacher Guru Mahi. Afterwards, she taught Yoga in Berlin, where she used to live until 2019.

Seeking further knowledge she completed a 500hrs training at Yogadarshanam in Mysore, India in 2019 with Master Santosh Kumar. Throughout the years of practice, Mariana has explored different styles such as Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Jivamukti and Yin Yoga as well as other practices such as Mindfulness Meditation, Vipassana and Bhakti Yoga. She has also completed a 60hrs Thai Yoga Massage Training in Chiang Mai, Thailand and a Foundation Training by Acro Yoga International in Evia, Greece. 

Besides her experience in the Yoga path, Mariana has graduated in Fashion Business with an emphasis in Marketing and has completed with distinction an MA in Media Production at University of the Arts London.

She has worked several years in the creative industries in London, Berlin and São Paulo and has over 10 years experience as a stylist for important television networks and international magazines such as Vogue. In 2014, she founded her own magazine,  Stories Collective, which started as a bilingual digital platform and over the years evolved to an annual print magazine and art exhibition funded by a government run program by Brazil’s Ministry of Culture.

Currently, she uses her media and marketing skills to support yoga business and purpose-driven brands, bringing a fashion and editorial lens to content creation and digital marketing strategies.

Marcelo is a certified Yoga teacher with 500hrs training completed in Mysore, India. After over 5 years of training Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Callisthenics, Marcelo discovered Yoga in 2016, whilst on a life-changing 3-year journey travelling Brazil doing volunteering work and studying natural medicines in the Amazon.

Triggered by human development and energy work Marcelo has also studied Life-Coaching and Holistic Therapies such as Reiki and Massage. He has also explored different yoga styles such as Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga Vinyasa, Yin and Acro Yoga as well as other practices such as Tai Chi and Qi Gong.
In 2019 he went to India to deepen his Yoga practice. There he practised Ashtanga Vinyasa with Sharmila Maresh, daughter of R. Saraswathi Jois (KPJAY) and with Srinatha B. (Yoga with Srinatha) before taking his 500hrs teacher training with Master Santosh Kumar at Yogadarshanam in Mysore. After spending some time in Auroville studying the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo, Marcelo went to Thailand to deepen his studies in massage and completed a 60hrs Traditional Thai Yoga Massage training at Sunshine Massage School in Chiang Mai.

Prior to his experiences with Yoga and holistic practices, Marcelo has graduated in Business Management at Mackenzie University, a renowned institution in São Paulo, Brazil and has experienced the corporate world working with International Business and Importation/Exportation in two multinational companies for over 5 years (2008-2013).

He has also launched his own digital marketing agency in 2013 where he provided marketing, social media and entrepreneurship consultancy for start-ups and freelancers, an experience he integrates into his yoga life today by supporting yoga brands developing digital marketing and business strategies.

Besides all that, Marcelo is also a music enthusiast and is currently working on his first album, which shows the entire personal trajectory of his changes, awakening and spiritual learning. He also loves to sing and play mantras in his practices and classes.
